The 31 Days of German Riesling
July 01 - 31, 2011
For the past six summers, Wines of Germany has hosted "Riesling Week" with restaurants and retailers nationwide. This year, we're doing something bigger and better - proclaiming July as "The 31 Days of GermanRiesling" to celebrate the varietal.
During the month, we're asking participating restaurants and retailers to promote German Rieslings in a variety of ways that works best for their business - such as serving at least 2 German Rieslings on the menu for the month or hosting an in-store tasting. We provide participants with marketing collateral such as check cards, postcards, posters, bottle tags and print and digital advertising all for FREE.
To help spread our message, we're working with Paul Grieco and the folks at Terroir wine bars in NYC so that "31 Days of German Riesling" is connected with the overall "Summer of Riesling" promotion that Paul's team is hosting nationwide with the International Riesling Foundation (IRF).
