We’re bringing Berlin to Austin yet again! Announcing a free German wine tasting at The Austin Wine Merchant this Saturday September 7th from 12-3pm.

Come taste through and explore the diversity of German wines with Advanced Sommelier, Rania Zayaat. Sampled wines will include German classics (think Riesling from the Mosel) as well as lesser-known regions and styles like Silvaner from Franken.

Our Wines of Germany Austin Ambassador, Rania, is co-owner of one of Austin’s most prestigious beverage consultancies, VintelWine. In 2018, Rania took her dedication to the wine industry a step further by founding the Wonder Women of Wine, a nonprofit aimed at advocating for gender equality and transparency in the wine world.

The Austin Wine Merchant was founded in 1991 with the mission of curating a collection of the world’s finest wines at fair and competitive prices, locally owned and operated in downtown Austin, Texas.
