Hidden Gems: German Wine Tasting in Seattle – October 2, 2019

Come join us for sips & snacks in Seattle!

Join Master Sommelier and our Seattle Ambassador, Jackson Rohrbaugh, for an exploration of Germany’s lesser-known varietals at the Swedish Club on October 2nd from 7-9pm. In a casual classroom format, the evening will feature tastings of wines from several of Germany’s winemaking regions, including a handful of older varietals and an array of different, exciting styles. Light snacks will also be served!

Jackson is a Seattle native who discovered a passion for wine while working at Canlis, and eventually became the lead sommelier. His dedication to both the restaurant and the industry is what helped him progress from lead server to his current position of Assistant Wine Director. His passion and knowledge make him a perfect leader for the evening’s exploration.

Built in 1961 and overlooking Lake Union just a few minutes north of downtown Seattle, the Swedish Club is a beautiful, historic place to learn more about all that German wine has to offer.
